Seed Global Health
Marionka Pohl is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health policy and advocacy, currently serving as Senior Director of Policy at Seed Global Health since July 2025. In this role, Marionka specializes in health systems policy, human resources for health, climate and health, and health financing, contributing to the strengthening of health workforces in Malawi, Sierra Leone, Uganda, and Zambia. Prior to this, Marionka held various leadership positions at Save the Children International, including Global Head of Health Policy and Advocacy and Global Head of Health and Nutrition, where strategic engagements with donor governments were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes advocacy management roles at Save The Children Deutschland and community organizing at DICO Gesellschaft für Community Organizing gGmbH, as well as positions in political aide roles and project coordination. Marionka holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in European Studies and Modern Languages from the University of Bath.
