Chester Szeen

Chester Szeen has a diverse work experience. Chester is currently the COO at Seedify since May 2023. Chester is also a Trade and Industry Advisory Board Member at the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau since January 2024. Chester is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper at the Global Shapers Community since May 2023. Chester has worked as a Network Expert - Web3 at GLG since September 2022. Chester has also served as an Advisory Board member of Global Business Programs at The Chinese University of Hong Kong since June 2021. Additionally, they have been a Mentor - DeFi / Web3 at Outlier Ventures from June 2022 to July 2023. Chester previously held the role of Incubation Lead at re:base ventures from December 2021 to May 2023. Chester also founded Mellow - Digital Pocket Money in January 2019 and was the Founder until September 2021. Chester has participated in the Techstars fintech accelerator program from September 2020 to August 2021 and also worked as a Fintech Entrepreneur at AppWorks from August 2019 to August 2021.

Chester Szeen has a Master of Science degree in Data Science from the University of Rochester. Chester also completed an Executive Education program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Chester holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business & Chinese Enterprise, which they pursued jointly with the University of South Carolina, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in the Japanese Program from Waseda University and in the LKSF x Singularity University TechCracker Exponential Program from Singularity University in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Chester attended Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong and Queen's College as well, but no specific degrees were provided for these institutions.
