Afiah Smith

Afiah Smith currently serves as an Involvement Specialist at Kean University Center for Leadership and Service, a position held since November 2022. Additionally, Afiah has been a Seed University Student at Seeds of Fortune Inc. since September 2020, contributing to an initiative that supports young women of color in grades 11-12 with college preparation, career skills, and financial literacy. Previously, Afiah gained experience as a Librarians of Tomorrow Intern at Brooklyn Public Library from January to July 2019. Afiah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Kean University, expected to graduate in May 2025, and has also attended John Jay School for Law from 2017 to 2021.
