Romain Deschamps

Romain Deschamps has extensive experience in the field of data science and research. Romain is currently serving as the Head of Data at Seedtag since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at RTL Deutschland GmbH as the Head of Data Science from August 2020 to October 2022. Before that, Romain held positions at trivago as the Head of Data & Method from August 2019 to August 2020, and at Telefónica Chile as the Lead Data Scientist / Researcher from January 2017 to August 2019. Romain also worked as a Data Scientist / Consultant at Altran Belux from January 2016 to 2017. Romain has a strong background in research, having worked as a Researcher at the Institut d'astronomie et d'Astrophysique, European Southern Observatory, and Observatoire de Paris from 2010 to 2015.

Romain Deschamps completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics at Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne from 2005 to 2008. Romain then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Astrophysics at Université Grenoble Alpes from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Astrophysics from Université libre de Bruxelles from 2010 to 2015.
