Nathan Turnbull

Nathan Turnbull has a diverse work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and network management. Nathan is currently working as a Sales Engineer at SCADAfence - The OT & IoT Cybersecurity Company since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Threat Intelligence at Seekintoo starting from December 2018. From July 2017 to December 2018, they worked as a Senior Analyst at FireEye, Inc. Nathan also had experience as a Security Analyst at Agrium from September 2014 to July 2017. Before that, they worked as a Security Analyst at Cenovus Energy from January 2012 to September 2014 and at Encana Corporation from July 2010 to December 2012. Additionally, Nathan served as a Technology Coordinator at SPIE (Security Professionals Information Exchange) from January 2010 to January 2011. Nathan started their career as a Network Specialist at TAQA from 2008 to 2009 and later also worked at Bell Canada as a Network Specialist and Network Analyst from 2004 to 2008.

Nathan Turnbull attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2000 to 2002 and studied Computer Engineering Technology. Nathan then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology (BAIST) degree with a specialization in Network Management at SAIT from 2003 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Nathan Turnbull obtained the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification from GIAC in August 2013.
