John Gee

John Gee has over 20 years of experience in 3D production. From 2000 to 2009, they were self-employed as a 3D Production Artist. From 2001 to 2013, they worked at Waterford Institute as a 3D Production Team Lead and 3D Production Artist. From 2009 to 2019, they were the Owner of Geegrafix. From 2010 to 2019, they were a Pipeline TD at Sony Pictures Imageworks. Since 2013, they have been a 3D Artist at Utah Valley University, working on all aspects of 3D including Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, Animating, Scripting, Rendering, Rigging and different VFX. In 2019, they became the Director 3D Services at Ocavu.

John Gee attended Brigham Young University from 1993 to 2001, where they earned a BFA in Industrial Design with an emphasis in Animation and a Minor in Management.
