John Pirrie

John Pirrie has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Their most recent position was as the SVP of Product at Ocavu, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Product & Design Consultant in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, John served as the VP of Product at Ocavu, leading the product and design team and driving the development of an immersive 3D and augmented reality platform. Before that, they were the VP of Security Products at RapidSOS from 2020 to 2021, pioneering a new industry solution for emergency data delivery. From 2014 to 2020, John held multiple roles at SecureNet Technologies, including Vice President of Product and Director of Product, Design & Marketing. John founded and operated a news reader app start-up called FeedLeague from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, John worked as a Creative Director at Dzyn Creative, as well as a Sr. Web & Multimedia Designer at FARO Technologies. Their career began as a Graphic Designer in 2002.

John Pirrie's education history includes an Advanced Diploma in Screen (3D Game Art) from TAFE SA, which they pursued from 2006 onwards. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma in Screen (3D Game Art) from the same institution in 2005. John also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the University of Melbourne, which they completed between 2001 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including topics such as 3D Graphics, Market Research, Leadership, Product Management, and Agile Project Management.
