Morrie Swerlick

Morrie Swerlick has a strong background in data engineering and business intelligence. They worked as a Data Engineer at Seesaw Learning starting in 2023. Prior to that, Morrie worked at 2U from 2013 to 2023, where they held various roles including Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer, Technical Integrations Manager, and Project Coordinator. During their time at 2U, Morrie led initiatives to improve tools for building predictive models and advanced analytics, saved time through process automation and centralized data, and acted as the primary business expert on a system implementation project. Before joining 2U, Morrie worked at Vanderbilt University as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Housing and Residential Education, where they managed online marketing efforts and supervised a team of photographers. They also worked as a Practicum Student, assisting with the implementation of a student engagement platform and developing training materials. Earlier in their career, Morrie worked at Emory University as a Greek Life Residence Hall Director, managing a residence hall and providing guidance to fraternity and sorority chapters.

Morrie Swerlick obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emory University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration at Vanderbilt University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Morrie Swerlick obtained a Salesforce Certified Administrator certification from Salesforce in October 2014.
