Hiroshi Kadowaki has a diverse range of experience in the gaming industry. Hiroshi began their career in 1994 as a Programmer at TECMO KOEI GAMES Co., Ltd. and worked their way up to become a Leader and Senior Engineer. In 2008, they joined TECMO KOEI CANADA, Inc. as the Manager and Head of Production, where they were responsible for the overall business plan, budget, operation, and product performance.
Kadowaki then moved to DeNA in 2012, where they served as a Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Engineer. Hiroshi built and trained a team and developed a solid game client framework for 1st party games. In 2013, they joined ngmoco llc as the Senior Director of Software Engineering. Within this role, they led the game engineering team in the 1st party game studio department and was a key member of the leadership team.
Kadowaki's next position was at SEGA Networks Inc. in 2018, where they worked as the Chief Development Officer. Hiroshi managed all production and development lines, including mobile game production, product management, and development handled by internal studios. Finally, in 2019, they joined Sega of America, Inc. as the CTO and Senior Vice President of Product Development. Hiroshi led innovation, tech strategies, research, vendor/partner relations, and product management across multiple platforms at Sega of America while closely working with other Sega studios.
Overall, Kadowaki has extensive experience in product development, management, and leadership roles within the gaming industry.
