Jens Thousgaard has a diverse education history. In 1991, they attended Handelsskolen i Århus, where they pursued a Højere Handelseksamen degree. During their time there, they studied subjects such as economics, English, and social relations. After completing their degree in 1993, Jens enrolled at Erhvervsakademiet i Randers. At this institution, they studied to become a Markedsøkonom, specializing in fields such as economics, English, German, and tourism. Jens continued their education in 2002 at Ledernes Hovedorganisation, where they pursued a degree titled "Den kompetente Leder." This program focused on coaching, leadership roles, teambuilding, and motivation. In 2011, Jens enrolled at VIA University College, where they pursued a Projektlede uddannelse diploma, specializing in project management.
