Thomas Brunow

Thomas Brunow has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thomas is currently working as the Director of Strategy at segmenta communications GmbH since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Strategist at their own company, Thomas Brunow - Büro für angewandte Strategie und Ghostplanning, from 2016 onwards. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Strategy Director and Head of Planning at Freunde des Hauses GmbH. Before that, they were a Senior Planner (Digital) at SCHOLZ & VOLKMER from 2011 to 2013 and a Campaigning Planner at Zum goldenen Hirschen I Deer Hunter from 2008 to 2011. In their earlier career, they had roles such as New Business/Assistant to CEO and Working Student Account Planning at Scholz & Friends AG from 2006 to 2008, and as a Working Student Account Planning at DDB Berlin from 2004 to 2006. Thomas began their professional journey as an Apprentice at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in 2000, and later worked as an Account Planning/New Business role there from 2003 to 2004. Overall, Thomas Brunow has accumulated a wide range of strategic and planning experiences in various advertising and communications roles throughout their career.

Thomas Brunow completed their education from 2003 to 2007 at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, where they earned a degree in Marketing called "Diplom-Kaufmann". In 2006, they also participated in a study abroad program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) for a year. During this program, Thomas studied subjects such as Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communications, and Strategic Marketing.
