Jeremy Yanek

Jeremy Yanek has a diverse work experience in sourcing and procurement roles. Jeremy is currently working as the Senior Director of Sourcing and Procurement at Segra since 2023. In this role, they have established a complete sourcing organization, overseeing various aspects such as procurement, contract supervision, and spend analysis. Previously, they worked at Cox Communications as the Director of Strategic Sourcing, where they managed a $700M portfolio spend and achieved significant cost savings. Jeremy also held the position of Senior Category Manager at Cox Communications, where they strategized innovations in facilities, engineering, and field services. Prior to this, Jeremy worked at Fiserv as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, responsible for annual spend and contract negotiations. Jeremy started their career at John Deere as the Regional Procurement Center Manager, where they achieved substantial cost reductions and capital savings through procurement initiatives.

Jeremy Yanek earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Iowa between 2006 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Finance from Loras College from 2000 to 2005. In addition, they have obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Supply Management from the Institute for Supply Management, although the exact date of completion is unknown.
