José Luis Zúñiga

José Luis Zúñiga has extensive experience in the aerospace industry. José Luis began their career in 2007 as a summer intern at Urbanizadora del Bajio, SA de CV, where they supported the quality area. In 2009, they had a summer internship at HYRSA Aerospace, where they provided support to the quality department and worked on machining spare parts for aerospace engines. José then co-founded Decision Maker Aerospace in 2010, where they conducted business development activities in multiple countries. José Luis also had an internship at TechBA in 2014, where they supported Mexican aerospace companies entering the European market. José worked as a Quality Manager at HYRSA Aerospace from 2014 to 2015, where they designed and implemented the Aerospace Quality Management System. From 2016 to 2021, José worked as an Aerospace Commercial Director at FUMEC, establishing strong relationships within the industry and participating in various industry events. In 2022, they joined AEROTECNIC as part of the industrialization team, managing aerostructures and components. José's most recent role, starting in 2023, is at SEGULA Technologies, where they are responsible for creating the SEGULA AEROSPACE brand in Mexico and developing sales and marketing strategies.

José Luis Zúñiga has a diverse education background. José Luis completed an Aerospace MBA at Escuela de Organización Industrial. José Luis also pursued Business development and technology-based ventures at Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN, with a focus on Administration et gestion des affaires, général. Furthermore, they hold a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Quality and Production from Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya. José Luis Zúñiga also obtained a certification in Engineering Project Management from UVEG.

In terms of additional certifications, they acquired an Aerospace Quality System Internal Auditor/SAE AS 9100D certification from CESMON-QUAL LLC in 2018. José Luis also received a certification as an Automotive Quality System Lead Auditor ISO/TS 16949 from BSI in 2016. In 2015, José Luis Zúñiga gained expertise in Core Tools through a certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Additionally, they obtained certifications as an Aerospace Quality System Internal Auditor/SAE EN 9100C from IMP Consultores in 2015 and as an Aerospace Quality System Internal Auditor/SAE AS 9100C from CESMON-QUAL LLC in 2010.
