Nina Jenkins

Nina Jenkins has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nina started their career as an Instructional Coordinator - AmeriCorps at Powerful Voices in 2006. Nina then worked as a Legal Intake Assistant at the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington from 2008 to 2009, where they revised and streamlined intake and referral procedures. Nina also served as a Legal Assistant and a member of the Litigation Team in the successful Witt v. Air Force litigation.

In 2010, Jenkins joined Seeds of Hope Peru as a Curriculum and Communications Coordinator, where they crafted fundraising materials for donors and partners. Nina then worked at Obama for America as a Research Associate from 2011 to 2012, synthesizing research and providing rapid-response documents for the campaign.

From 2013 to 2016, Jenkins worked at SKDKnickerbocker as a Senior Associate and later as a Vice President. In these roles, they crafted and drove communication strategies, managed budgets and team resources, and worked with clients facing regulatory investigations.

Since 2016, Jenkins has been working at SEIU 775. Nina started as a Senior Communications Specialist and later became the Marketing and Communications Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications, providing strategic counsel to union officers and leading multilingual communications projects.

Nina Jenkins earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Government from Santa Clara University. Nina attended the university from 2002 to 2006.
