Samantha Shewmaker

Samantha Shewmaker is an experienced communications and policy professional with a robust background in organizational governance, human rights strategy, and marketing. Currently serving as the Communications and Policy Liaison at SEIU Local 668 since March 2022, Samantha previously held the position of Director of Communications at Pennsylvania AFL-CIO from August 2016 to April 2022. Samantha has volunteered extensively with Amnesty International USA, contributing to human rights strategy and governance as a Volunteer Leader and Mid-Atlantic Representative. Additional roles include Executive Producer at The Rick Smith Show and Field Organizer for PA Victory 2016. Samantha holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in English from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
