Esme Grubbs

Esme Grubbs has extensive experience in labor organization and education, currently serving as Regional Director at SEIU Local 721 since June 2014 and as a Consultant at EG&A since January 2011. Previously, Esme held the position of Executive Director at AFT Local 1475 from March 2011 to March 2014 and worked as an Organizing Coordinator at SEIU Local 721 from January 2002 to February 2011. Early career experience includes roles as a Teacher Assistant at Carver MS and LA Academy MS within LAUSD from October 1996 to September 2002. Esme Grubbs earned a BA in Sociology from Mount Saint Mary's University, completing studies there in 2007.
