Cybersecurity Technical Lead at SeKON Enterprise

Bryan Johnson has extensive work experience in cybersecurity and project management. Bryan is currently serving as the Cybersecurity Technical Lead at SeKON Enterprise, Inc., where they lead multiple teams and provides expertise to senior leadership on complex cybersecurity initiatives. Prior to this, Bryan worked at the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center as an Information Systems Security Manager, leading systems through the NIST Risk Management Framework and authorizing Navy and Marine Corps information systems.

Before that, Bryan served as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Fathom 4, LLC, where they supported USMC systems with authorization and assessment activities and achieved two Authorizations to Operate. Bryan also worked as a Senior Program Manager at DRS Technologies, Inc., managing and executing various projects related to IA, technical engineering, software development, and network management for USMC and Navy Communications and C4ISR.

Bryan has also held the role of Director of Cybersecurity and Technical Services at Centurum, overseeing projects related to IA, technical engineering, software development, and network management for USMC and Navy shipboard and shore-based communications. Bryan served as the Contract Manager for two Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts.

Earlier in their career, Bryan worked at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. as an Operations Manager, providing strategic leadership and organizational analysis. Bryan also served as a Sr. Information System Security Analyst.

Bryan has experience in the public sector as well, working as an Information Technology Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing support for information systems management and Tier I/II client and network support.

Prior to their public sector roles, Bryan worked as a Retail Store Manager at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they managed a multimillion-dollar retail store. Bryan also has experience in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Sr. System Administrator, managing trainer and computer assets and working in a large-scale LAN/WAN environment.

Throughout their career, Bryan has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, project management, risk management, authorization and assessment processes, and information systems management. Bryan holds an MBA, MSPM, CISSP, PMP, and FQNV certifications.

Bryan Johnson has an extensive education history. Bryan obtained a Master of Science in Project Management from The Citadel from 2014 to 2016. During the same period, they also earned a Graduate Certificate in Technical Project Management from The Citadel. Prior to that, they completed an MBA from Webster University in 2007, with a focus on business. In 2006, they earned a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. Before this, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force in 2005. Lastly, in 2003 they pursued Computer Engineering at the University of South Carolina.

In addition to their formal education, Bryan has acquired several certifications. Bryan became a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute in August 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as CNSSI 4012 and CNSSI 4015 in May 2014, and became a Fully Qualified Navy Validator through the US Navy in August 2013. Bryan also earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in February 2012. Earlier certifications include CompTIA Security+ in June 2010 and CompTIA Network+ in March 2007, both from CompTIA.
