Juan Zuluaga

Juan Zuluaga has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and industries. Juan has worked as a Development Manager at Selazar since 2022, overseeing 5 development groups across the UK and Colombia.

Prior to that, they worked as a Docente de cátedra (Professor) at ITM - Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano since 2012, teaching groups between 20 and 40 students.

Before joining Selazar, Juan worked as a Senior Dotnet Developer at Intertec International from 2022 to 2022, where they developed an application using .NET Core and Azure.

In 2021, they worked as a Mobile Specialist at Overactive, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of applications for an electrical engineering company and a money transfer application.

Additionally, they worked as a Desarrollador sénior (Senior Developer) at Intergrupo, contributing to the development of the "Mi Equipo" application for Bancolombia.

Juan also has teaching experience as a Docente de cátedra at Universidad de San Buenaventura Medellín and Politecnico Colombiano JIC, where they taught programming, advanced programming, and system analysis and development courses.

Throughout their career, Juan has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and has held leadership and technical roles in multiple projects.

Juan Zuluaga studied at Politénico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid' from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Tecnología en Sistematización de Datos with a focus on Sistemas. Juan later pursued further education at the same institution from 2001 to 2006, earning a degree in Ingeniero Informático specializing in Ingeniería informática.

In addition to their formal education, Juan Zuluaga obtained various certifications. Juan became a Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer in June 2017 through Xamarin. In November 2015, they completed a certification in Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services from Microsoft. Furthermore, Juan also holds a Scrum Team Member Accredited Certification, although the specific date of acquisition is not available.
