Basel Altaqi

Basel Altaqi has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Basel served as the Pulmonary Medicine Director at University Hospitals starting in April 2017. Prior to that, they were the Critical Care Medical Director at University Hospitals since February 2015. Before that, Basel was the Chief Medical Informatics Officer at St Vincent Charity Medical Center from July 2014. Basel also worked as an MD, FCCP at OHIO CHEST PHYSICIANS, LTD. since July 2011. Currently, Basel serves as the Quality Director at Select Medical since February 2017.

Basel Altaqi completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine from 2008 to 2011.
