Tara Batterham

Tara Batterham, MS, RD, currently serves as the Interim Food Service Manager at Select Medical since October 2024. With a diverse background in nutrition and food service management, Tara previously held positions as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC, and a WIC Nutritionist at the McHenry County Department of Health. Extensive experience includes roles as Director of Food and Nutrition at Select Medical, where responsibilities included leading a startup team and improving patient satisfaction scores, and as Dietary Supervisor/Registered Dietitian at The Alden Network, focusing on nutrition assessments and staff training. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Diet and Exercise from Iowa State University, along with ongoing nutritional research at Instituto de Investigación Nutricional.
