Kankana Kalita

Kankana Kalita has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2014. Kankana began their career at Zeta Interactive as a Project Associate - Campaign Management, where they developed solutions for deliverability in Gmail domain, managed and monitored the delivery of emails, checked the CFS, content and other criteria for email delivery, and conducted research for email headers and encryption techniques used in different domains for email delivery. In 2015, they joined Aptroid Technologies as a Member Technology - Solutions Development and Deliverability, where they were responsible for campaign management (CPA, CPM, CPC) for email campaigns, developed solutions for deliverability in Yahoo domain, PMTA configuration & monitoring and IP management, analyzing of the performing data, creation of reports for clients, and managing affiliates. In 2018, they worked as a Management Intern at Dechen Consulting Group Inc., where they were involved in understanding the brand refresh needs of the organization, identifying right vendors, and issuing an RFP for soliciting vendor proposal. Kankana also conducted requirements gathering, data analyzing, and identified and designed key business intelligence reports (dashboards) for the leadership team to manage the US Staff Augmentation business. In 2019, they joined LoadShare Networks Pvt Ltd as a Management Trainee, BA, B2B Operations, where they were involved in analysis of vehicle utilization for eCom and non-eCom goods for the entire NE region, and in route-wise and client-wise load distribution and revenue planning and automation of the revenue calculation process. Kankana also liaised with clients and vendors for the purpose of RFQs, bringing in new business, billing, performance evaluation, etc. Currently, they are working as a Principal Research Analyst, Senior Research Analyst, and Software Research Analyst at SelectHub, where they conduct primary and secondary research for building RTs, RFIs, and product profiles to handle content refresh and relaunch for the leaderboards in the platform. Kankana has also developed subject matter knowledge across multiple categories such as CRM, Project Management, BI, HRMS, CMMS, EHR/EMR, LMS, etc., and gathers requirements and conducts peer reviews for QA and end-to-end project delivery.

Kankana Kalita completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science & Engineering from Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET), Gunupur between 2010 and 2014. Kankana then pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Operations and Marketing Management from Tezpur University between 2017 and 2019. In 2021, they obtained four certifications from Udemy: Complete Agile Scrum Management + Kanban, SQL - MySQL for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, The Complete JIRA Agile Project Management Course, and Microsoft Power BI Desktop for Business Intelligence.
