Carmen López is an accomplished Programme Funding Manager at Self Help Africa since July 2023, with extensive experience in grant acquisition, business development, and project implementation. Prior roles include Programmes Officer at Human Relief Foundation, where Carmen contributed to securing over £6.7 million in funding and managed donor-funded projects across the Middle East. Previous positions also encompass experience at the European Institute for Gender Equality, Oxford Policy Management, and various NGOs, focusing on gender-based violence and human trafficking initiatives. Carmen holds a Master's in International Development from Universidad de Granada and a Law degree from Universidad Pablo de Olavide.
