Crystal Brown

Crystal Brown has a diverse work experience in various roles related to internal auditing and finance. Crystal is currently working at Self Regional Healthcare as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead. Prior to this, they held positions at Rockwell Automation and Baldor Electric, where they worked on Sarbanes Oxley projects in the finance department. At US Engine Valve, they served as a Financial Accountant and Sarbanes Oxley Project Coordinator, responsible for various financial tasks and assisting in accounting projects. Crystal Brown is a CIA, CFE, CRMA, and CICA certified professional.

Crystal Brown has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Lander University, which they obtained between 1994 and 1999. In 2022, they also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University. In addition to their degrees, Crystal has obtained several certifications, including the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), as well as the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) designations from The Institute of Internal Auditors and The Institute of Internal Controls, respectively.
