Jeff Geiger

Jeff Geiger has a long and varied work experience. In 2005, they started as a Senior Systems Administrator/Division Manager for the Army National Guard. In 2012, they moved to the Nebraska Army National Guard as an Information Assurance Manager. In 2013, they began working for the Nebraska Book Company as an AIX System Administrator, and for Firespring as a DevOps Engineer. Jeff also worked for MOCYBER - The Missouri National Guard Computer Network Defense Team as a Cyberspace Defense Technican, Senior Defensive Cyber Operations Hunt Operator and Team Lead, and a Bro and Linux/Unix analyst. In 2015, they took on the role of Principal Product Architect for BroEZ and Instructor/Team Mentor (Independent Contractor) for ACT-P (Advanced Cyber Protection Team Training - Pilot). In 2016, they started at CrowdStrike as a Principal NSM Engineer, and in 2017 they became the CTO of Perched - an Elastic company. Most recently, they have held the role of Senior Director of Security for Selfbook since 2021.

Jeff Geiger has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Grantham University (2008-2013), US Army 251A Warrant Officer Basic Course (2008-2009), and University of Nebraska at Kearney (1997-2000) where they studied Telecommunications Management.
