Manon Yona

Manon Yona has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Her career began as a Lead Project Manager for Barsupport in 2008. In 2012, they completed a Master Thesis Research for Jellinek and worked as a Psychologist for MC Slotervaart, where they conducted screenings and intakes, wrote reports, and counseled a multidisciplinary team on patient assessments. Manon also provided one-on-one therapy sessions such as CBT, mindfulness, relaxation, visualization, and exposure. In 2015, they worked as a Coach for MSc Transition Coach. In 2016, they held the role of Operations & People Specialist for Earny Inc. and in 2017, they became Head Of Operations for Forks Over Knives. Manon Yona currently holds the role of Director of People and People Operations Manager for Selfbook, a position they have held since 2022.

Manon Yona has a Master of Science in Clinical and Healthpsychology from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied Substance Use Disorders and PTSD. Manon also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied Health/Medical Psychology. Additionally, they hold certifications in Vipassana Meditation from the Dhamma Joti Vipassana Center in Yangon, Myanmar, obtained in July 2014, a Psychological Assessment Certificate (BAPD: Basis Aantekening Psychodiagnostiek) from the Dutch Association of Psychologists (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen), obtained in June 2013, and a LOGO GZ Verklaring from the University of Amsterdam, obtained in March 2013.
