Carlos Villagomez

Carlos Villagomez has over 20 years of work experience. Carlos currently holds the position of VP of Finance Latam at Selina, a role they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Region Finance Director (South America) at Selina from March 2020 to April 2021. From December 2019 to March 2020, they were the Cluster Finance Director (Ecuador y Perú) at Selina. Carlos also has experience as a Country Controller at Selina (June 2018 to December 2019). Before joining Selina, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Asesor Financiero Privado from January 2017 to February 2018. Between 2009 and 2016, Carlos held the position of Director Financiero Administrativo at Royal Palm Hotel Galapagos. Carlos also gained experience as a Jefe Administrativo at AIG from August 2004 to March 2008. Carlos started their career as a Jefe Administrativo at Western Kentucky University from June 2003 to June 2004. Prior to that, they served as a Fedatario Fiscal at SRI from January 2001 to June 2002. Carlos began their professional journey as an Asistente de Auditoría at Deloitte Ec from January 2000 to December 2000.

Carlos Villagomez attended Western Kentucky University from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued an MBA. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, they studied at Universidad Internacional SEK and obtained a degree in Finance, specifically as an Ingeniero Financiero.
