Leela Sunkara

Leela Sunkara has held various engineering roles since 2016. Leela began as a Quality Engineer at Lake Region Medical in 2016, and then joined Cook Medical as an Engineer in 2017. Later that year, they joined Zimmer Biomet as a Sr. Quality Engineer I, and was promoted to Quality Engineer. In 2022, they moved to Selux Diagnostics, Inc as a Senior Quality Engineer.

Leela Sunkara has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Leela also holds certifications in ISO 13485 Lead Auditor from Oriel STAT A MATRIX, ISO14971: 2019 Risk Management from ASQ - World Headquarters, and Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – Level I from ASQ - World Headquarters.
