Dugan Kniesteadt

Dugan Kniesteadt has worked as a software engineer since 2014. Dugan began their career at CDK Global, where they developed a common service that provided APIs to end user applications using Spring, Java, and Gemfire. Dugan also designed AngularJs webpages and created tools using Angularjs. In 2016, they joined DAT Solutions as a Data Engineer, where they created rest calls to retrieve and update rates information, researched how to process JSON data in Hive, and researched how to utilize Apache Storm to process large Log Data. In 2017, they began working at TransUnion as a Software Engineer, where they deployed a Rest Service to replace a Soap service, built a Proxy to convert Soap calls to Rest Calls, created API services to process mass amounts of data from customers, converted all API services to utilize the power of Kubernetes and Docker, and developed a Dashboard using Grafana and Prometheus to monitor services. In 2021, they joined SemanticBits as a Software Engineer.

Dugan Kniesteadt graduated from George Fox University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Science.
