Astrid Aune

Astrid Aune has extensive work experience in the language services industry. Astrid currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Accounts & Nordic Team Lead at Semantix, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Strategic Accounts at the same company since January 2022. Before joining Semantix, Astrid worked at Semantix Norge where they held various roles, including Key Account Manager / Bid Manager from September 2018 to January 2022, and Production Manager from September 2011 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at INK Norge from April 2005 to August 2011. Astrid also served as the Norwegian Language Manager at ALPHA CRC LIMITED from 2000 to 2005. Astrid's work experience includes a role as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Surrey from 2000 to 2004 and as a Technical Translator at P.H. Brink from August 1999 to January 2000.

Astrid Aune began their education at Skånland sentralskole, although the start and end years are unknown. After completing their primary education, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics. Astrid then pursued further education at the University of Surrey, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Translation from 1998 to 1999.
