Thomas Smith

Thomas Smith currently serves as a Building Maintenance Supervisor at Seminole County Public Schools since March 2024. Prior to this role, Thomas was a Field Service Manager at CD Maintenance Company from September 2023 to April 2024. Thomas has extensive experience in asset protection, having held various managerial positions at TBC Corporation from October 2009 to September 2023, including Sr. Manager Asset Protection and Divisional Asset Protection Manager. Thomas managed loss prevention operations for 25 Albertsons stores in Florida from March 2005 to June 2009, investigating over 500 cases of fraud and theft. Previous experience includes working as an Asset Protection Specialist at SEARS in 2004 and interning with the Seminole County Sheriff's Department while studying Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida, where Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004. Thomas's career began with service as a Construction Electrician in the US Navy from 1994 to 2002, culminating in an honorable discharge.
