Marco Lombardo

Marco Lombardo currently serves as Senatore at Senato della Repubblica, holding the position of Segretario della IVª Commissione per le politiche europee and being a member of the Vª Commissione per la programmazione economica ed il bilancio since October 2022. Since January 2007, Marco Lombardo has also been a Docente a contratto at Università di Bologna, teaching EU law in the Master Relazioni Internazionali Bologna-Buenos Aires, and previously worked as a Research Fellow providing teaching assistance and legal consultancy in various EU law fields. Marco Lombardo founded YOUROPE SRL in June 2015, offering consultancy in EU law and European policies, and served as Assessore for Comune di Bologna from January 2018 to October 2021. A lawyer at Studio legale Lombardo from January 2010 to November 2022, Marco Lombardo's educational background includes a PhD in EU Law from both Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and the University of Strasbourg.
