Abhijit Datta

Abhijit Datta is currently serving as a Student Member of the Research Ethics Board and a Research Assistant at Seneca Applied Research since August 2023. Additionally, Abhijit holds the position of Ambassador for the Student Quality Assurance Council at Seneca Polytechnic. In the role of Tax Administrator at RBC Wealth Management from January 2024 to April 2024, Abhijit prepared over 400 T1 and T3 returns, managed compliance tasks utilizing various tax software, and performed technical tax analysis on investment statements. Previous experience includes a Peer Mentor position at Seneca Polytechnic and an Investment Banking Intern role at Citi. Abhijit is pursuing an ACCA qualification while working towards a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance at Seneca Polytechnic, having previously studied for a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management at Humber Polytechnic.
