Johan Poole-Johnson

Johan Poole-Johnson has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Johan started their career in 1998 as an FPDSavills Sales Manager, where they generated significant sales revenue for a key customer and managed properties in the commercial real estate and property development sector. In 2000, they founded their own company, AsiaTransact Co, and served as its founder until 2002.

From 2002 to 2007, Johan worked at Synamatix as a Business Development Manager, focusing on next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics. Johan was responsible for sales and marketing, signing collaboration agreements with major companies and organizations in the field and contributing to the transition from R&D to a global commercial launch.

In 2007, Johan joined Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre as a Sales and Marketing Manager. Johan specialized in next-generation DNA sequencing and bioinformatics, overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing and establishing reseller partnerships in multiple countries. Johan also secured collaboration agreements with renowned research facilities and institutes.

Since April 2008, Johan has been working at Sengenics as a Commercial Director. Sengenics is a biotechnology company known for its patented KREX technology in immuno-diagnostics and therapeutics. Johan's role involves leveraging this technology to discover drug companion diagnostics and diagnostic signatures for various conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, cancer, and neurodegenerative conditions. The KREX platform originated from a joint collaboration between the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.

Throughout their career, Johan has demonstrated strong expertise in sales, marketing, and business development, particularly in the fields of genomics, biotechnology, and real estate. Their experience includes managing teams, creating and implementing marketing strategies, and establishing key collaborations and partnerships.

Johan Poole-Johnson began their education at Hollywood High School, although the specific years are unknown. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Murdoch University from 1994 to 1996. During this period, their studies focused on International Business, Marketing, and Finance.
