Erin N. Light

Erin N. Light, M.A. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and research fields. Erin N. has held various roles at Silverado, starting as an Administrator in Training in 2017 and eventually becoming a Senior Administrator in 2021. Erin N. also worked as an Enliven Memory Care Director at Senior Resource Group, where they were responsible for overseeing staff and the memory care portion of an assisted living community. Erin has experience in care management for memory-impaired residents as the Director of Resident & Family Services at Silverado Care. Additionally, they have worked as a researcher at the University of Southern California and the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on Alzheimer's and memory research. Erin has also presented at conferences on topics related to gifted education.

Erin N. Light, M.A. has a strong educational background in gerontology and cognitive science. Erin N. received their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California in 2014. Prior to their master's degree, Erin completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cognitive Science at UC San Diego from 2008 to 2009. Erin N. also obtained an Associate's Degree in University Studies: Pre-Cognitive Science from MiraCosta College from 2006 to 2008. Erin's academic journey began with their High School Diploma from Torrey Pines High School, which they earned in 2006. In addition to their formal education, Erin has pursued certifications in their field. Erin N. is a Dementia Care Specialist certified by the Alzheimer's Association® and holds a RCFE License from the California Department of Social Services.
