Vince Tan

Vince Tan has extensive work experience in the audio industry. Vince started their career as an Audio Engineer in 1992 and worked until 1996. Vince then worked as a Sales Engineer at Audio Visual Land (Yamaha) from 1996 to 1998, and later at Electronics and Engineering Pte Ltd (Harman) from 1998 to 1999. From 1999 to 2007, they served as a Regional Sales Manager at Sennheiser. Vince then held various roles at Sennheiser, including Relations Manager for Asia and Australia from 2007 to 2012, System Solution Manager for Market Development from 2013 to 2016, VP Pro Audio Solutions Sales for S.E.A from 2016 to 2018, and currently, they are the Vice President Sales for APAC - Professional Audio since 2019.

Vince Tan has a diverse education history. In 1992-1995, they earned a Diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute. Following this, they obtained a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore in 2005-2007. Vince then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Northumbria University from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they received a Certificate in Effective Negotiation from Karrass Worldwide Ltd. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate in Finance for Non-Financial Managers from SIMGE (SIM Global Education). Vince attended Gisma University of Applied Sciences in 2012 for Organizational Leadership. In 2013-2014, they studied Japanese Language at Ikoma Language School. In 2019, they completed an Executive certificate in leadership & people management focusing on Leadership for strategic impact at Singapore Management University. Lastly, in 2023, they earned a Certificate in Sustainability: The Next Challenge from the National University of Singapore.
