Gabe Canales

Gabe Canales has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gabe began their career in 1993 as a Senior Finance Auditor at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, where their responsibilities included inventory management, data entry, quality control, and customer relations. In 1998, they joined Pratt & Whitney as a Purchasing Procurement Assistant, where they developed expertise in material planning, purchasing administration, and writing RFPs.

From 2001 to 2002, Gabe worked as a Procurement Help Desk in Contract Services at the San Antonio Housing Authority, dealing with procurement-related tasks. In 2002, they joined Raba-Kistner Consultants, Inc. as a Marketing/Business Development-DBA Corporate/Regional Office Manager. Here, they managed databases, provided technical support and training, and created reports for various departments.

In 2004, Gabe joined Centex Homes as the Pathways Director and Field Office IT Manager. Gabe oversaw all aspects of the sales system, including training, technical support, and creating database systems. Gabe also set up sales offices and managed LAN systems for over 25 locations.

From 2011 to 2015, Gabe worked at AVANCE, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology, responsible for overseeing the IT department. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Technology at Seno Medical Instruments, starting in 2015.

Gabe Canales began their education journey in 1988 at Palo Alto College, where they pursued pre-law studies. Gabe attended the college until 1989. In 1990, they continued their education at San Antonio College, earning a certification in Basic EMT in 1991. Following this, from 1992 to 1994, Canales attended St Philip's College, where they obtained a certification in Surgical Technology – Pre-Medicine. Finally, in 2000, they enrolled at Wayland Baptist University and studied Business Administration for a year, completing their education in 2001.
