George Verras

George Verras has extensive experience in technology and engineering leadership, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at Sensata Technologies since April 2006. Verras also leads Sensata Ventures, focusing on incubating new opportunities in key megatrends. Prior roles at Sensata include Vice President & General Manager of the Heavy Vehicle Off-Road Business Unit and Senior Director & Integration Manager. Earlier experience includes positions at Texas Instruments, where Verras held various roles in design engineering. Verras holds an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
