Cristiane Freitas Diamantino

Associate Scientist, Microbiology at Sense Biodetection

Cristiane Freitas Diamantino has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Cristiane began their career as a Scientific Initiation at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they were involved in several projects related to human health and the environment. In 2017, they took on a similar role at Embrapa, where they conducted research in molecular biology, microbiology, and laboratory and sterilization techniques. Cristiane also worked on two projects related to soil and plant microbiology. In 2018, Cristiane was an Intern at Carste Ciência e Meio Ambiente, where they performed laboratory activities involving invertebrate indexing and data scanning. Cristiane also worked as a Scientific Initiation at Departamento de Gestão Ambiental UFMG. In 2019, they took on the role of Laboratory Technician at Mercian Science. In 2020, they became an Independent Business Owner at Uai Crafts. Most recently, in 2021, Cristiane began working as an Associate Scientist and Microbiology Technician at Sense Biodetection Ltd.

Cristiane Freitas Diamantino obtained a High School degree from the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais in 2011-2013. Cristiane also obtained an Environmental Technician degree from the same school during the same timeframe. From 2014-2018, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
