Tom Tidswell

Tom Tidswell has over 13 years of professional experience in software engineering and consulting. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Frontend Developer at SenseOn. From 2019-2021, they were the Lead Developer at Hullabalook, an interactive shopping PaaS, where they developed highly interactive and customisable shopping apps in Vue.js and Python. In 2019, they also completed a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly, where they learnt how to build responsive full-stack web apps using React, Node.js, Python and both SQL and noSQL databases. From 2017-2018, they were a Senior SAP Consultant and SAP Specialist for npower and ENGIE Electrabel, respectively. From 2016-2017, they were a Senior Consultant at Baringa Partners. From 2008-2016, they worked at IBM Global Business Services as a SAP Managing Consultant, specialising in Digital Transformation within the Utilities industry. In 2007, they founded their own business, Take Five (refreshments).

Tom Tidswell has a diverse educational background. In 2019, they completed a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly. From 2003 to 2007, they attended the University of Bradford, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Design. Prior to that, they attended Queensbury School from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained A(A2) Levels in Maths, Physics, Technology, and General Studies. Additionally, they obtained a SAP Netweaver certification from SAP in May 2010.
