Etienne Mordret

Etienne Mordret has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Etienne currently works at Sensirion as a Field Application Engineer starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Fischer Connectors as an R&D Engineer, completing their master's thesis from February 2022 to September 2022.

Before that, from September 2021 to February 2022, they worked at Genève Aéroport as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. In 2021, they also had a brief stint at Miraex as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on design, optimization, and industrialization of optical sensors assembly.

In 2021, Etienne worked at flowbone SA as a Simulation Engineer, and in 2019, they worked at SP80 as a Mechanical Design Team Leader and Mechanical System Engineer.

In 2018, they gained experience at Formula Student Team Delft, where they held multiple roles, including Pit Responsible, Production Chief, and Suspension Engineer. Etienne contributed to various aspects of the car's design, assembly, and maintenance.

Etienne's work journey started in 2015 at TOLE POWER SYSTEM, where they worked as a Polyvalent Operator during the summer. This experience provided him with valuable insights into manufacturing processes, aiding him in optimizing the cost and producibility of their designs as an engineer.

Etienne Mordret began their education in 2016 at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Ingénierie mécanique. This program lasted from 2016 to 2020. Following their undergraduate studies, Etienne attended Delft University of Technology in 2018 and 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they returned to EPFL from 2020 to 2022 to complete their education with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
