Luka Sturtewagen

Luka Sturtewagen, PhD, is a Principal Data Engineer at Sensorfact since November 2021, having previously worked as a Data Engineer at LINKIT from February 2020 to October 2021. Luka's expertise in data engineering is complemented by a strong academic background, including a PhD in Physics and Physical Chemistry from Wageningen University & Research, where research focused on the complexity of foods through information theory and statistical mechanics. Prior to the doctoral studies, Luka obtained a Master of Science in Bioscience Engineering, specializing in Food Science and Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Science in Bioscience Engineering, emphasizing Chemistry and Food Technology. Additional educational experiences include time at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Polytech Lille, and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
