Lip Hean, Joseph Fong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lip Hean, Joseph began their career as an Account Manager at Initial Hygiene Malaysia, where they were responsible for sales and customer retention. Lip Hean, Joseph later became the Branch Manager at Abadi Hygiene Sdn Bhd, overseeing branch operations and managing a team of 17 employees. Lip Hean, Joseph then served as the Director of Branch Operations at Premium Advisory Sdn Bhd, handling sales, marketing, and support in consultancy and legal matters.

Following that, Fong joined Ecolab as a Territory Manager, managing assigned territorial accounts and offering numerous promotions and career advancements during their five-year tenure. Lip Hean, Joseph then worked at Diversey as a District Sales Manager, managing the Northern District and leading a team of Territory Account Managers and Technical Specialists. Lip Hean, Joseph later transitioned to Public Mutual Berhad as an Agency Supervisor, before returning to Ecolab as a Sales Development Manager. Most recently, Fong joined SensorFlow as a Sales Director, where they are committed to providing sustainable solutions for the hospitality industry and making smart buildings a reality.

Lip Hean, Joseph Fong's education history includes obtaining a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia in Secondary Education and Teaching from Methodist Boys' School Penang from 1990 to 1994. Lip Hean, Joseph then pursued a Diploma in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from Equator Academy of Art & Design from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they obtained a Certification of Foundation in Arts & Design from De Montfort University in 1995 to 1996. In terms of certifications, they acquired several, including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Ecolab in 2020 and Diversey's Way of Selling from Diversey in 2016. Lip Hean, Joseph also has certifications in Effective Presentation Skills from ITD World in 2013 and Business Writing That Works! from Performance Focus Training in 2012. Furthermore, they hold certifications in Successful Selling via Effective Communication from Rentokil Initial in 2007 and ServSafe Certification for Food Protection from the American National Standards Institute in January 2020. Lip Hean, Joseph has also completed The Counselor Sales Person and The Versatile Sales Person certifications from Wilson Learning.
