Clinical Research Director at Sensorion

Judith Laredo has been a Clinical Research Director at Sensorion for the past 6 years and 4 months. Prior to that, they worked at Servier for 20 years in various roles such as Alliance Manager - Oncology, Head of Department Translational Research, Senior Clinical Project Manager.

As Clinical Research Director at Sensorion, Judith is responsible for the development of small molecules and gene therapy drug candidates in rare diseases (pediatric and adult) i.e. Vestibular disorder, Sensorineural hearing loss, autosomal recessive deafness. Judith is also in charge of extended synopsis/protocols and contributes to the clinical development plans, clinical part of submission dossier (IND, VHP, ODD) and answers to questions from health authorities.

Judith has also been instrumental in building a network of KOL and investigators, and organization of clinical advisory boards. Judith has also built an effective clinical development team and is part of the Management Team (COmité de DIRection) and Project teams. Additionally, they are also involved in Research Consortium with Academics (building of the project with partners, participation to proposals drafting).

Throughout their career, Judith has demonstrated their ability to manage early development partnerships with biotech companies (development of cell therapy, Immunotherapy products and kinase inhibitor). Judith has also been responsible for ensuring proper communication both internally and with the partners, set up of governance committees and rules, organize regular meetings with the partners, monitor the implementation of the contracts, coordinate activities involved in the projects (preclinical, clinical, regulatory, intellectual property, CMC, business development, legal, finance….), In charge of a 5 persons team.

In their previous role as Senior Clinical Project Manager at Servier, Judith was also responsible for Proof of concept studies : effects of antidepressant drugs on emotions, effects on motivation) in healthy volunteers. Judith also collaborated with academic teams (IRMf, validation of behavoural models in Healthy volunteers), In charge of the development plan in a new indication with a scientific advisors committee. Additionally, they were also responsible for Drafting of study protocols (Depression, Bipolar disorders, sleep disorders), Validation of technical and regulatory documents> Organization and facilitation of investigators meetings and Coordination of the activities (CROs, data management, statistics pharmacovigilance…).

Judith is an experienced professional who has excellent project management skills. Judith is a strong leader and has the ability to motivate their team to achieve results. Judith is also an excellent communicator and has superb writing skills.

Judith Laredo has a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III), which they received in 1994. Judith also has a CAAE from Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE, which they received in 1995. In 2007, they received a Diplôme Inter-Universitaire in Sommeil from Université Paris-Sud. Judith is also certified in Alliance Management from ASAP (Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals). Finally, they have a maîtrise in Biochimie from Université de Montpellier, which they received in 1988.
