Alex Wiltschko

Alex Wiltschko is a senior research scientist at Google Brain, focusing on applications of machine learning to olfaction. He is a co-founder of Syllable Life Sciences and Whetlab, acquired by Twitter. He has worked in industrial-scale machine learning for data center and revenue optimization, and led research teams working on machine learning infrastructure as well as applications of AI to scientific problems in biology and chemistry. He received his PhD in Neurobiology at Harvard, studying the neuroscience of behavior and olfaction.
