Bidesh Kar

Bidesh Kar has held various roles in product management and marketing at companies such as Sentient Energy, S&C Electric Company, and Itron. Bidesh also served as a Partner Member on the Board at Power Delivery Intelligence Initiative. Prior to that, they gained experience in project management and software engineering at Infosys Tech. Ltd, where they managed offshore development teams and led the design and development of web applications for clients in the Utilities industry.

Bidesh Kar earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from the University of Kalyani in 2003. Bidesh later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy & Marketing from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, graduating in 2013. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Underground Electrical Distribution Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in September 2020 and in Analytics Edge - Data Modeling & Visualization (MITx) from edX in May 2014.
