Nicolas Carreras

Nicolas Carreras has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nicolas began their career as a Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they joined JPMorganChase as an Analyst/Associate Investment Banking TMT, where they executed over $50 billion worth of M&A, Debt Capital Markets, and Equity Capital markets transactions. Nicolas received recognition as the top performing Analyst in London and the top performing Associate in New York.

In 2010, Carreras joined HSBC as an Investment Analyst, contributing to investment analysis until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an Investment Analyst at United First Partners.

In 2015, Carreras founded Soulor Research, an independent research firm that provided in-depth research on public securities. Nicolas served as the Founder & Director of Research until 2017.

Carreras then transitioned to the role of Product Manager and Head Product Specialist at Sentieo, a company specializing in data science products. Nicolas later became the Director of Data Science at Sentieo, responsible for developing integrated Data Science products and user interfaces.

Throughout their career, Carreras has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, investment banking, research, and data science.

Nicolas Carreras has a diverse education history. In 2021-2022, they attended General Assembly and obtained a Data Science degree. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, they studied at Wesleyan University, earning a BA degree with a focus on Economics and English Literature. Although specific dates are not provided, it is known that Carreras attended Collegiate and St. Bernard's School at some point during their education. In addition to their formal education, Carreras also obtained certifications in Data Science and Python Programming from General Assembly in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
