Simone Battaglia

Simone Battaglia is a Senior R&D Scientist specializing in Molecular Biology at Sentinel Diagnostics since January 2022, where leadership is demonstrated in the R&D Nucleic Acid Testing Unit. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at Ospedale San Raffaele from March 2015 to December 2021, contributing to the Cryptic consortium for tuberculosis research, and holding a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Emerging Bacterial Pathogen Unit. Simone Battaglia completed a PhD in Genetics, Molecular, and Cellular Biology at the University of Pavia, where education also includes a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Biology. Early experience as a Molecular Biologist involved structural studies on the Adenosine Kinase enzyme related to anti-trypanosomial drugs.
