Jason Padrick

Jason Padrick has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Jason is currently working as a Senior Production Engineer at Sentinel Peak Resources since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Driltek Operating as a Completions and Workover Project Engineer from June 2021 to November 2022. Jason was responsible for production operations engineering, petrophysical evaluation of projects, and had supervisor-level pressure control certification.

Before joining Driltek Operating, Jason worked at California Resources Corporation for several years. Jason started as a Staff Petrophysicist in December 2014 and was promoted to Senior Petrophysicist in April 2015. Jason then transitioned to the role of Senior Production Operations Engineer, where they designed and managed well completions and capital add-pay jobs.

Prior to their time at California Resources Corporation, Jason worked as a Staff Petrophysicist at Oxy from May 2012 to November 2014. Jason began their career at Schlumberger Technology Corporation in 2006 as a Field Engineer and progressed to Senior Field Engineer and General Field Engineer roles. Jason gained experience in completions, production logging, and special projects, overseeing well operations under challenging conditions.

In 2002, Jason also had a brief role as a Philmont Scout Ranch Staff member.

Jason Padrick, MSM has a diverse and comprehensive education history. Jason completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, from 2001 to 2005. After gaining expertise in engineering, Jason pursued further education and enrolled in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2021 to 2023. During this period, they earned their Master of Science degree in Management.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Jason has also obtained certifications that further enhance their skill set. In April 2000, they obtained a Private Pilot's License for sailplanes from the FAA, showcasing their proficiency in aviation. More recently, in September 2021, they acquired the Oilfield Well Control certification in Drilling, Workover, and Completions from the International Association of Drilling Contractors.
