Head of Conversation & Bot Design at SentiOne

Andrew Fryckowski has had a varied career in the technology field. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Sales Consultant at Noel Leeming. In 2012, they moved to Air New Zealand as a Direct Sales Consultant. In 2013, they joined Concentrix as a Sales Support Leader and Supervisor. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at LocTeam as a Voicebot VUI Tester and Linguistic Analyst, where they were responsible for localised voice recognition testing and analysis for Apple. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at (caravelo) as a Product Specialist and Conversation Designer & Chatbot Project Manager, developing and designing conversational user experiences for the company's bot product platform, Nina. In 2021, they joined SentiOne as the Head of Conversation & Bot Design.

Andrew Fryckowski's education history includes a Bachelor of Communication Studies & Digital Media from Auckland University of Technology (2006-2008), a Diploma in Aviation Science (Management) from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) (2009-2013), a Commercial Pilot Licence NZ CAA (Fixed Wing) from Ardmore Flying School (2009-2013), and a High School International Baccalaureate Diploma from Suzhou Singapore International School (2003-2006). Andrew has also obtained additional certifications from Oyster® ("Oyster Academy | Remote Ready", 2022), The Interaction Design Foundation ("How to Design with and for Artificial Intelligence", 2021), and Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) ("Remote UX: How To Move Design and Research Online" and "UX Writing: How To Use Words As A Design Power Tool", 2021).
