Morten Herman Langkjær

Morten Herman Langkjær has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Morten is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Sentispec since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Continuous Delivery Consultant and Microservice Architect at JP/Politikens Hus A/S. Morten also has experience as an Independent Contractor at Morten Herman Consult, where they focused on software product development and SaaS.

In terms of their previous roles, Morten was an External Consultant - Continuous Delivery at Systematic, a Member of Advisory Board at Brølstærk, and an External Consultant Agile Fluency Delivery Zone/Continuous Delivery at WhiteAway Group. Morten also had significant contributions as a Freelance Software Architect and CI/CD Expert at an undisclosed financial institute, where they introduced zero downtime deployments and microservice architecture. Morten also worked as a Freelance Architect & Scrum Master at FirstAgenda, where they introduced continuous delivery methodologies through microservice architecture.

Prior to these roles, Morten served as a Software Team Lead and a Software Team Leader at eBay Inc, overseeing the development of websites such as BilBasen.dk and dba.dk. Morten was responsible for various tasks, including technical and architectural design, stakeholder management, and people management.

Before joining eBay, Morten worked as a Systems Engineer at Digital XPress, specializing in building Digital Asset Management systems for the graphics and marketing industry. These systems aimed to enhance productivity, control, and workflows in marketing agencies and in-house marketing departments.

With their expertise in software product development, SaaS, continuous delivery, microservice architecture, and team management, Morten has accumulated valuable experience in various domains.

Morten Herman Langkjær's education history is as follows:

In 1986, they attended Kragelundsskolen, where they completed their elementary schooling.

From 1996 to 1999, they attended Marselisborg Gymnasium, where they completed their high school/college education with a focus on general studies.

From 2001 to 2005, Morten attended the Engineering College of Aarhus and earned their B.S. Honors degree in software engineering, IT, and infrastructure.

In 2008, they took several external courses, including Advanced C#, WCF in .NET, and Certified SCRUM Master.

In the same year, Morten obtained their Master of Science degree in computer science from Aarhus University.

In 2009, they completed a coaching course to enhance their coaching skills.

In 2011, they participated in an external course on advanced project management held by Frans La Cour from Metier.

In 2012, they attended an external course on Situational Leadership.

In 2013, Morten completed a course on web security and software security, becoming a certified security specialist from Certified Secure.
